Flowerpot Island (Eng. " Flowerpot Island ") is an uninhabited island in the George Bay of Lake Huron . It belongs to the Canadian province of Ontario and is located between the Bruce Peninsula in the south and the island of Manitoulin in the north. The island is 2.1 km long, 1.5 km wide and has an area of about 2 km². It is part of the Fathom Five National Marine Park and is known for its flowerpot-like rock formations on the shore, from which the island owes its name.
