The Aguni Airport ( Jap. 粟国空港 , Aguni Kuko ) is a regional airport in the Japanese city of Aguni . It is located in Shimajiri County in the south of Okinawa Island . According to Japanese law, Aguni Airport is a 3rd class airport . There are currently no scheduled flights as Ryūkyū Air Commuter discontinued service in July 2009.
