The Bujumbura International Airport ( fr. : Aéroport International de Bujumbura ) is an international commercial airport in the East African landlocked country Burundi . The airport is about eleven kilometers outside the city of Bujumbura . In 2004 about 85,000 passengers were registered. The Burundi government operates the airport.
