The Dong Tac Airport (Vietnamese: Sân bay Đông Tác ), formerly English Tuy Hoa Air Base is an airport of Đông Tác province Phú Yên in Vietnam .

The airport is located near the city of Dong Tac . The nearest port is Van Phong Port , more than 90 km away .
history
During the Vietnam War , Đông Tác Airport was known as Tuy Hoa Air Base . Erected in 1966, it was one of many air bases of the South Vietnamese Air Force and was used by the United States Air Force .

Incidents
According to ASN , a fatal accident is known near the airport. On December 11, 1965, a Fairchild C-123 B-18-FA provider of the USAF had an accident through contact with trees. 85 inmates were killed.
