Yinchuan Hedong International Airport 银川 河东 国际 机场 (IATA: INC , ICAO: ZLIC ) is the main airport for Yinchuan , the capital of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in the People's Republic of China .

The airport is located 25 kilometers southeast of downtown Yinchuan in the Linghe-Lingwu district. A relatively small airport compared to many airports in China, it is nonetheless the most important air traffic gateway for the autonomous region. His name "Hedong" literally means "east of the river" and is derived from the location of the airport on the Yellow River. It is connected to over 20 cities either by direct flights or by transfers. The terminal building covers a total area of ​​15,000 square meters. In 2018, the airport handled around 8.9 million passengers. The concrete runway 03/21 has a usable length of 3200 meters.
