The Mount Magnet Airport is the airport of the town of Mount Magnet in the Australian state of Western Australia , where gold and iron ore is mined. It is located about six kilometers south of the city center and is directly accessible via the Great Northern Highway . Skippers Aviation flies regularly from Perth , approx. 625 km southeast, to the airport.
