The airfield Poznan-Bednary is an airport near the place Bednary northwest, 24 kilometers from Poznan (dt. Poses ). It was established in 1940 as a military airfield Tonndorf by the Air Force of the Armed Forces created.
history
Tonndorf Air Base opened in 1940. The runway was grassy. Since October 1941, various pilot schools were on the field. From July 1944, active airborne units were also stationed here.

The airfield has been in Poland since 1945 and is now part of the Bednary municipality in the Poznański powiat (Poznan district) in central Poland in the Greater Poland Voivodeship . The airfield is still in operation and used for sport aircraft.
