The Fluted Peak (English for Grooved tip ) is one of grooves ridged and snowy mountain peaks in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Queen Maud Mountains it rises on the southeastern foothills of the Roberts Massif . As the only snow-covered elevation of the massif, it is a landmark that can be seen from a southerly point of view.
Participants in a 1961 to 1962 campaign as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition gave it its descriptive name.
