The Foca Point is a headland on the west coast of Signy Iceland in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It forms the south side of the entrance to Express Cove .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey carried out surveys in 1947. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it on March 31, 1955 after the whaling ship Foca of the Compañía Argentina de Pesca company , which had called at the Southern Orkney Islands in December 1926.
