Focus: the Zeitkritische Magazin ( ISSN  0046-4287 ) was a major non-conformist Swiss student magazine that existed from 1969 to 1979.

Among other things, the focus was the «mouthpiece» of writers such as Walter Matthias Diggelmann , Sergius Golowin and Hans Mühlethaler .

History of publication

Focus was founded in 1969 by Peter W. Baumann , who was also the magazine's first editor-in-chief. It was published from 1969 to 1979 in 110 editions by Focus-Verlag in Zurich . From 1972 it had a new format. In 1973 it absorbed the magazine Agitation ( ISSN  1421-7112 ). In 1979 it merged with the readers' newspaper ( ISSN  1421-7104 ) and formed the Tell ( ISSN  1421-7090 ).
