Foil igniter

When exploding foil detonator is a highly explosive, but handling secure detonators in film form. Due to the large igniting surface and the low ignition delay, a foil fuse can be used as an initial fuse in nuclear weapons . The term exploding foil detonator may both Exploding bridge and on Slapper relate. Foil detonators are subject to export controls in Germany and Switzerland.
