Healthy Austria Fund

The Healthy Austria Fund (FGÖ) is a public institution based in Vienna , whose purpose is health promotion and disease prevention .

Through information, education and public relations work, the Austrian population should be motivated to choose a healthy lifestyle. In addition, the Healthy Austria Fund supports practice-oriented and scientific projects in the field of health promotion, the development of structures as well as advanced training and networking.

The Healthy Austria Fund was founded in 1998 and has been a division of Health Austria since 2006 . He has an annual budget of 7.25 million euros from public funds. The head of the FGÖ is Klaus Ropin.
