The Forêt Classée et Réserve Partielle de Faune de la Comoé-Léraba is a protected forest and game reserve in the province of Comoé in southwest Burkina Faso , along the Comoé and Léraba rivers on the border with the Ivory Coast .

The protected area is managed by an AGEREF (Association intervillageoise de gestion des ressources naturelles et de la faune), a village community, so that the income from hunting and ecotourism benefits the surrounding areas. In the village of Folonzo there are accommodations and a small museum about the reserve, and AGEREF also has an office in Banfora .

In addition to Sudanese savannahs, which are characterized by tall, sometimes perennial grasses of the Andropogoneae and woody plants of the Combretaceae and Leguminosae , there are also gallery forests and island forests with Guinean floral elements.

Larger mammals include buffalo , roan antelopes , West African hartebeest , cob antelope , bushbuck , crown duiker , baboons and warthogs .
