The trout lake Holm is located in the municipality of Holm . It is 1.5 hectares and is used for fishing in a non-economic sense.

nature

The lake and 3 other fish ponds were created in 1976.

It is fed by two sources that run through the Wedel marshland and, after passing through the 4 lakes , flow into the Elbe west of Hamburg . The depth of the water is about 3.50 meters at the deepest point. A ditch meanders through the lake, directing the flow of water from the springs to the monk .

fauna

Trout, sturgeon, catfish and pikeperch are kept and stocked in the Forellensee Holm . In addition, there are carp , tench and crayfish in the water.
