Forkville is an unincorporated community in Scott County in the US state of Mississippi . Forkville is located in the Bienville National Forest at the junction of Mississippi Highway 13 and Mississippi Highway 483 , about 12 km north of Morton .
In 1950 about 15 families lived in Forkville, which at the time consisted of a cotton mill, a church, an elementary school and a post office. The post office existed until March 19, 1994.
