Fornells is a town in the north of the Spanish Balearic island of Menorca . It has 1017 inhabitants (2011) and belongs to the municipality of Es Mercadal . Fornells lies on a four kilometers deep, two kilometers wide bay, the Badia de Fornells. The place is home to the lobster fishermen .
