Forres Mechanics (officially: Forres Mechanics Football Club , nickname: The Can Cans ) is a Scottish football club from the town of Forres in the Moray region . The club, founded in 1884, is known as the oldest football club in Northern Scotland and has played in the Highland Football League without interruption since the league was founded in 1893 . Only Clachnacuddin FC has also been there from the first season.
Forres Mechanics was two league champions: 1985/86 and 2011/12.
The club plays in Mosset Park (1400 seats, including 502 seats).
