Forsthaus Park

The Forsthauspark is a 13,300 m² park in the northernmost part of Vienna's 20th district of Brigittenau , between Forsthausgasse and Lorenz-Böhler-Gasse .

It is named after the forester's house in Brigitta Au (after which the later district was named). It was built to protect the Brigitta Chapel, consecrated in 1651 , which is located in the park. The entire area of today's 20th district consisted of uninhabited meadow and hunting areas surrounded by arms of the Danube.

With a volleyball court , basketball court and skateboarding facilities, the park is primarily a leisure facility for children and young people.
