The Foster Islands are a two islands archipelago on the north east coast of Tasmania , Australia . The two islands are connected by a land bridge at low tide and together cover an area of ​​48  hectares . You are part of the Waterhouse Island group . The islands are a nature reserve.

fauna

Concerning the finding on the islands nesting sea birds are little penguin , white-faced storm petrel , Pacific Gull , sooty oystercatcher and Australian Pelican . The hen goose also breeds on the island. There are skinks on the island.
