Photo corners are small, mostly transparent plastic corners with a self-adhesive back, which are mainly used to insert photographs in photo albums or passport photos on application letters. In this way, images can be attached to the ground (album page, writing, etc.) without covering them or bringing them into contact with adhesive .

Since the photos have no direct contact with the adhesive, it is possible to remove them from the album without damaging them in order to use them again or to read any inscriptions on the back (date, people, etc.).

The photo corners were invented in 1926 by Heinrich Hermann, the founder of today's Herma GmbH .
