The Fourcade Glacier ( Polish Lodowiec Fourcade ) is a glacier on King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It's at the head of Potter Cove on Maxwell Bay .
Participants in a Polish Antarctic expedition in 1980 named it after Néstor H. Fourcade of the Instituto Antártico Argentino , who carried out geological surveys in Potter Cove and on the Fildes Peninsula in several campaigns between 1957 and 1961 .
