Fowler (California)

Fowler (formerly Fowler's Switch ) is a city in Fresno County in California , United States . In 2010, 5570 inhabitants were registered there. The city is located in the San Joaquin Valley .

The place is 18 kilometers southwest of Fresno at an altitude of 94 meters.

history

The first post office at this location opened in 1882. On June 15, 1908, the city was officially founded. It is named after Senator Thomas Fowler . Today's mayor is David Cardenas.
