Fränzi Rothenburger-Wirth
Fränzi Rothenburger-Wirth was a German hit and operetta singer from the 1950s.
She was born as Franziska Rothenburger, married Ludwig Wirth and took the stage name Fränzi Rothenburger-Wirth . After Wirth's death, she married Ludwig Möller, but kept her stage name.
Rothenburger-Wirth recorded, among other things, the single Zum Hochzeitstag ( love proves itself, love exists ; the two old people ) and kisses in the dark . In 1949 she sang Christel (called Postchristel) in Carl Zeller's operetta “ Der Vogelhandler ” at the Thalia Operetta Theater in Hanover . She often sang for the radio, including the Hessischer Rundfunk (HR) and the NWDR . She was announced as a star guest in the popular morning program on HR Frankfurter Wecker . She produced her records herself under the name Ro-Wi-Produktionbased in Langenhain (Taunus) . During her active time, Rothenburger-Wirth (Franziska Möller) lived in Frankfurt am Main . Today she lives with her husband in Spain.
