Frédéric Thomas (born August 10, 1980 in Sarcelles ) is a former French football player .
Club career
Frédéric Thomas played at the beginning of his professional career for the French second division UC Le Mans . With the club, he made it to Ligue 1 in 2003 . After a year his club was relegated again, but another year later the midfielder was able to celebrate the immediate promotion. In 2006 Thomas was signed by league competitor AJ Auxerre for around 4 million euros . After two years he returned to Le Mans and played there until 2013. Two years followed at Grenoble Foot and a career break until 2018. Then he played for six months for the amateur club AS Mulsanne and ended his career there.
