François Fick

François Fick (born February 9, 1862 in Kattenhofen ; † after 1918) was a wholesale merchant and member of the second chamber of the Landtag of the Reichsland Alsace-Lorraine for the Lothringer Block.

François Fick, who was a Catholic denomination, attended elementary school and commercial schools. He worked as a wholesale merchant. For 6 years he was a member of the municipal council of Deutsch-Oth , for six years he was an alderman and from 1901 mayor. From 1906 he was a member of the Agriculture Council and from 1905 of the District Assembly . From 1907 to 1911 he was a member of the state committee.

In the first (and only) election to the state parliament, he ran in the constituency of Fentsch-Algringen as a candidate for the Lorraine Bloc. In the first ballot, 4,586 votes were cast in the constituency of the 5,412 eligible voters. Fick received 2,513 votes , the independent candidate Frey 1,425 and the Social Democrat Forster 624 votes. François Fick was a member of the state parliament until 1918.
