Francesco De Feo

Francesco De Feo (born July 24, 1920 in Altamura ) is an Italian documentary filmmaker and screenwriter .

Life

From 1946 De Feo worked as an assistant director (for example for Luigi Zampa and Marcello Pagliero ) and in the 1950s he devoted himself to short and documentary films . After working on some screenplay for sandal films, he shot an adventure flick in 1961 and then turned to some pseudo-documentaries in the style of Gualtiero Jacopetti .

De Feo should not be confused with the patriot of the same name (1828–1879).
