Francesco Tomasoni (born November 15, 1947 in Brescia , Lombardy ) is an Italian philosopher and university professor .

Life

Tomasoni studied Catholic theology at the " Pontificia Universitas Gregoriana " (Rome) and philosophy at the State University of Milan . He taught history of modern philosophy at the University of Piemonte Orientale ( Vercelli ). Since 1989 he has been Vice President of the International Society of Feuerbach Researchers "Societas ad studia de hominis condicione colenda." (Zurich, Berlin, Münster). Together with Ursula Reitemeyer-Witt and Takayuki Shibata , he is the editor of the international fire research at Waxmann (Münster). He is also a member of the scientific advisory board of the "Accademia cattolica di Brescia" and the publishing house "Morcelliana"

His research focuses on the German Enlightenment and idealism , also with regard to Judaism ; also Ludwig Feuerbach , of whom he published important manuscripts for the first time.
