Francis Yahaya Mahama

Francis Yahaya Mahama (* 1942 ) is a former Ghanaian major general and diplomat .

Career

In 1996 Mahama was appointed Colonel in command of the First Brigade of the Ghanaian Army . On March 21, 2000, he was in command of the First Brigade Group, Brig., And was promoted to major general. He was also given command of the Southern Command of the Ghanaian Army. Mahama retired in March 2001 . In October 2001 he was accredited as a diplomat in the Kremlin . On November 8, 2002, Mahama and his driver were attacked and injured in Moscow's Victory Park .
