Francisco Asensi
Francisco Asensi Hernández (* 1936 in Algemesí , Valencia Province ; † 2013 ibid.) Was a Spanish writer.
Life
After finishing school, Asensi studied history, philosophy and theology at the University of Valencia . He was able to successfully complete this degree and then got a job as a lecturer at the same university.
After a few years Asensi resigned from all his duties and offices and entered a monastery. Overall, he spent almost ten years in a Spanish monastery with lay brother status . His first literary attempts also come from this time.
As of 1996, Asensi devoted himself only to writing. He left his monastery and returned to his hometown in 2011.
