Francisco G. Ubieta

Francisco G. Ubieta was a Spanish soccer player and coach in Mexico .

Ubieta was a player and coach at Club España , a sports and social club founded by Spaniards in the Mexican capital . He participated in the first official meeting of the club in the context of the Mexican championship , which was played on October 6, 1912 on the sports field of the Reforma Athletic Club against the also newly formed Rovers FC .

Although Ubieta was elected team captain in March 1913, his name does not appear in any of the squads of the championship teams at Club España , but as a master coach in the 1913/14 and 1914/15 seasons.
