Francisco Tourreilles

Francisco D. Tourreilles is a Uruguayan politician .

Engineer Francisco Tourreilles belonged to the military government and held several ministerial offices during the phase of the civil-military dictatorship in Uruguay, which ruled the country from 1973 to 1985. From May 8, 1980 to June 7, 1982, he was Minister of Industry for the country and from July 17, 1981 to August 31, 1981, he held the post of Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries on an interim basis. From June 7, 1982 to February 28, 1985 he also headed the Ministry of Transport and Public Works under President Aparicio Méndez .
