Franco Bottari
Franco Bottari (* 1925 in Caserta ) is an Italian set designer , film director and screenwriter .
Life
Bottari began in 1959 as a film decorator and from 1963 worked intensively as a stage and costume designer on numerous productions in Italian cinema; mostly he was hired for genre films . Occasionally, he also worked on screenplays and directed in 1972 his first film as a director, the barely entered the rental, with terrorism apart releasing Guernica . Two other films under Bottari's direction, made in 1978 and 1979, are adult comedies that received no special attention.
