Frank Albe

Frank Albe (born January 2, 1964 in Braunschweig ) is a German professor of general business administration and president of the PFH Private University of Göttingen .

Live and act

Frank Albe studied economics and politics at the Technical University of Braunschweig . After completing his intermediate diploma, he moved to Göttingen and graduated from the Georg-August University in Göttingen with a degree in business administration . Later he did his doctorate with Wolfgang Lücke at the Institute for Production and Investment Research. In 1986 he became a member of Corps Teutonia-Hecynia Göttingen in Göttingen .

After five years of professional experience in controlling at TUI GmbH & Co. KG and at the same time teaching at the university and the PFH Private University of Göttingen, Albe accepted an appointment as professor for general business administration, in particular tourism management and controlling, at the PFH in 2000. Since 2003 he has been Vice-President and since 2004 Head of the Institute for the Development of Economic Skills of Politicians (IEWP). In 2014 Albe was elected president of the university.
