Frank Ettwein (born July 26, 1977 in Rottweil ) is a former German handball player . He last played in the handball Bundesliga for HBW Balingen-Weilstetten . His playing position was left winger , his strength lay mainly in the defense.

Career

Frank Ettwein has been playing at HBW Balingen-Weilstetten since 2002. He was the longest-serving player in the team and came to HBW in 2002 through the merger of TSG Balingen with his home club TV Weilstetten. Ettwein has been with TV Weilstetten since 1994. In 2005/06 he was with the HBW champion of the 2nd Handball Bundesliga South and rose with the team in the first division. After the 2013/14 season he ended his career.

Ettwein is a car mechanic by profession.
