Frank Fingerloos

Frank Fingerloos (* 1961 ) is a German civil engineer.

Fingerloos completed an apprenticeship as a bricklayer from 1977 to 1979 and studied civil engineering at the Cottbus University of Civil Engineering from 1982 to 1986 . He then worked there as a research assistant in the department of surface structures and stability theory and received his doctorate in 1990 on non-linear calculation methods in reinforced concrete construction. From 1990 to 2000 he was project manager for structural and property planning at Hochtief in Berlin. From 2000 he was at the German Concrete and Construction Technology Association (DBV), where he has been in charge of the construction technology division from 2005. In 2015 he became an honorary professor at the University of Kaiserslautern . He is a publicly sworn expert.

Since 2009 he is co-editor of the concrete calendar and he is the editor of the DBV sample collections. He is a member of various standards committees such as the one for Eurocode 2.
