Frank Haß

Frank Haß (* 1966 in Zwickau ) is a German school pedagogue (focus on English didactics), author , editor and publisher of teaching and learning materials as well as advisor on school and teaching development.

Life

From 1986 to 1991 Frank Haß studied English, Slavonic, comparative linguistics and education in Leipzig, Berlin and Odessa. Until 2004 he worked as a teacher, trainer and specialist advisor at various schools in Saxony. During this time, he was responsible for the conception and creation of regional and national curricula, educational standards and central performance review procedures. From 2004 to 2010 he worked at the Center for Teacher Education and School Research at the University of Leipzig. His tasks there were in the area of ​​the conceptual development of teacher training in its three phases, in the intra-university coordination of teacher training (educational sciences, specialist didactics, specialist sciences) as well as in networking the university and post-university training phases. Among other things, he was significantly involved in the development of a concept for qualifying school training teachers (mentors) and in its implementation. In addition, he conducted educational science courses. Since 2010 Dr. Haß works independently in the areas of teacher training and teacher training. Every year he conducts numerous events nationwide on different didactic and methodological focuses. Together with a team of experts, Dr. Hate as an author, editor and publisher teaching and learning materials primarily for teaching English. He is (co) editor of specialist magazines and editor of several English textbooks for secondary level I. In addition, he advises schools and institutions on current issues relating to school and teaching development. In all of this, his primary focus is on linking theory and practice.
