Frank Himmer

Frank Himmer (* 1967 or 1968 ) is a former German rugby player .

He played for the clubs TSV Victoria Linden and Hannover 78 , among others . He was also a member of the German national team and made 17 international appearances in the course of his career. In his personal track record, Himmer, who has been a referee in the rugby Bundesliga after the end of his career, has won seven German championships and three cup victories. He ended his playing career in 2001 at the age of 33 after he did not recover to the extent that a continuation of his career would have been possible due to the consequences of a broken jaw during a Bundesliga game.

Himmer trains the German U-18 national team and has also been a trainer and deputy head of department at TSV Egestorf since 2010 .
