Frank Johannes Pokrzywniak (born August 30, 1964 in Bottrop ) is a German musician.

Career

He studied classical guitar with Hans Gräf at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen.

His trademark is bridging the gap between musical styles, cultural genres and epochs. He works as a guitarist, lecturer, conductor, actor and composer. One of his best-known projects was the large-scale ARS PRO PACE project at Zeche Zollverein, as a cooperation partner of the city of Essen.

He worked as a concert guitarist, conductor for symphonic jazz, film music and theater music, on CD and video recordings, in chamber music in various casts and as an actor "... her devoted servant" at the Schillerbühne Halle. He also gave duo guitar concerts with Masayuki Kato

Special projects were ARS PRO PACE, The Blue Concert, "To be or not to be; youth MACHT", Who's afraid of William Burroughs

He is committed to the Peace Village of Oberhausen, is a member of the Hermann Hauser Foundation and is an active member of the Wettin eV cultural association. He supports Amnesty International.
