Frank Montiéh

Frank Montiéh (born November 19, 1959 ) is a former Cuban hurdler who specialized in the 400-meter distance and was also used in the 4-by-400-meter relay because of his sprint strength .

In 1977 he won silver at the Central American and Caribbean Athletics Championships.

At the Pan American Games in San Juan in 1979 , he won bronze over the 400 m hurdles and in the 4 x 400 meter relay.

Another silver medal at the Central American and Caribbean Championships in 1981 was followed by gold at the Central American and Caribbean Games in 1982.

In 1983 he won the Pan American Games in Caracas with his personal best of 50.02 s and took silver at the Ibero-American Championships.
