Frank Stahnke

Frank Stahnke (* 1968 ) is a former German American football player.

career

Stahnke emerged from the offspring of the Berlin Adler in the mid-1980s , and from 1987 he played in the men's team of the capital city. For this he was on the field until 1996 and became German champion in 1987, 1989, 1990 and 1991. In 1990 he was with the Eagles in the Eurobowl , but lost there as well as in the final of the German championship in 1994.

The wide receiver played for the Braunschweig Lions from 1997 to 1999 . With the Lower Saxony he was three times in a row (1997, 1998, 1999) German champion and 1999 Eurobowl winner.

With the German national team, he was third in the European Championship in 1993.

In the 2000 season Stahnke was a member of the coaching staff of the Berlin Adler and looked after the players in the position of the wide receiver at the Bundesliga club. From 2001 he passed on his football experience with the Hamburg Huskies , was part of the coaching staff of the men's team (Bundesliga) of the North German, then also in the junior division of the Huskies.
