Colorful German noble goat
The colorful German noble goat (abbreviated BDE) is a breed of domestic goats and was created in 1928 when the different color variants of brown-tinted goats from all areas of Germany were combined. In the same year the white lofts of Germany were also united to the white German noble goat .
Breeding goal
The breeding goal of the colorful noble goat is a fertile, resilient and long-lived goat with a correct stance in the middle and high efficiency due to high fat and protein production.
Color variations and strokes
Color variations and strokes that led to the colorful German noble goat are:
- the former Franconian goat , which is continued as a color variant with a brown basic color of the coat and black lower part of the legs and eel line ,
- the former Black Forest goat , is listed as a color variant with a medium to deep brown base tone and a light underbelly ,
- the Rhone goat , now considered extinct ,
- the Thuringian forest goat , which regained importance as an independent breed after reunification ,
- the former brown Harz goat , which was also run as an independent breed until 2010, and
- the former Erzgebirge goat .
