Frankfurter Brettl

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Frankfurter Brettl was a cabaret and touring theater in Frankfurt am Main operated from 1958 to 1979 by Gerd Knabe (* 1923) and his wife Peppi Kausch , which, in contrast to their other cabaret, Die Zeitberichter, was considered to be rather apolitical. Gerd Knabe had served in the Waffen-SS (SS-Obersturmführer).
