Frankfurter Illustrierte

The Frankfurter Illustrierte was a national, illustrated paper from Frankfurt . It appeared from 1913 to September 15, 1948 under the name Das Illustrierte Blatt in the publishing house of the Frankfurter Societäts-Druckerei , headed by Werner Wirthle from 1945 onwards, with a weekly volume of 28 pages, then changed its title to Frankfurter Illustrierte (at times also Neue Frankfurter Illustrierte ). In 1937 Wilhelm Hollbach was the responsible editor ("editor"). Herbert Kranz also worked for the Illustrierte Blatt . On January 1, 1963, the magazine was merged with Bunten Illustrierte , which until 1972 carried the name Bunte Münchner Frankfurter Illustrierte . As an illustrator u. a. Cefischer , who drew the cartoon character Oskar for ten years .
