Franklin Coen
Franklin Coen (born April 25, 1912 in New York City , † December 27, 1990 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American screenwriter .
Life
Coen appeared as a screenwriter from 1936. Up to and including 1974 he was involved in more than 20 film and long-distance productions. Most recently, he produced two scripts for blaxploitation films.
In 1966 he and Frank Davis were nominated for an Oscar for the screenplay for the film Der Zug in the category Best Original Screenplay.
