Franko from Dortmund

Franko von Dortmund (* in the 12th century; † January 7, 1234 ) was Vice Dominus and Canon in Münster , about whom little is known.

Life

Franko von Dortmund came from the noble family of the Counts of Dortmund . His family of origin is unknown. In 1212 he was first mentioned in a document as the canon of Münster. In 1230 he was Vice Dominus. In this office, which was connected with the representation of the sovereign , he remained until 1233. Nothing is known about his further life.
