František Čech (composer)
František Čech (born November 24, 1907 in Kardašova Řečice ; † January 30, 1975 there ) was a Czech composer and conductor.
Čech directed the DO-RE-MI-FA dance orchestra in the 1930s , with which he performed in Sezimovo Ústí and for which he composed more than 100 pieces, including Lísteček z památníku . His operetta Sezimovo Ústí based on a libretto by Marie Kafuňková , which was performed in Prague, Vienna and Berlin, was successful . After the Second World War he worked as a conductor at the Vesnické divadlo (village theater) and as a piano teacher.
