Franz Bielmeier
Franz Heribert Bielmeier (alias (Mary Lou) Monroe ) (born December 27, 1960 in Munich ) is a German musician who was one of the central figures of the early German punk scene . He published the first German-language punk fanzine, The Ostrich , and was a lyricist and guitarist for Fehlfarben's predecessors Charley's Girls and Lunch Break , and later also for Aqua Velva .
In September 1979 Bielmeier founded the Rondo label , which existed until 1982. Bielmeier was also active as a graphic artist and painter as early as the 1980s . Bielmeier is also one of the protagonists in Jürgen Teipel's book Verschwende Deine Jugend .
In 2002 he presented himself to the public for the first time as a visual artist in Xao Seffcheque's “Gallery Script” in Cologne with erotic watercolors , but also flat “social sculptures”.
Bielmeier has been running a blog since 2007, where he publishes lost and unknown recordings.
