Twin Dragons ( Chinese 雙龍 會 , Pinyin shuāng lóng huì - "Meeting of two dragons", alternative title see below) is an action and martial arts film filmed in Hong Kong in 1991 with Jackie Chan and many other stars of Hong Kong films.
action
John Ma and Boomer (both played by Jackie Chan) are identical twins who were separated by a child robbery shortly after their birth and who don't know anything about each other. John Ma becomes a recognized conductor, Boomer learns to fight and becomes a gangster. When the two happen to be in the same restaurant, a series of mix-ups arise. In particular, a gang of gangsters targeting boomers are now after John Ma as well.
However, since the two twins are almost telepathically connected, they not only feel the other's emotions, but can even be guided by their movements. So Boomer has to prove himself as a conductor in between, while John Ma grapples with the gangsters, which in the end brings them victory over the villains.
criticism
- As usual, Jackie Chan shines with his typical mixture of breakneck action and charming slapstick. Extremely fun and fast. ( TV feature film )
Remarks

This is why a number of well-known people from Hong Kong films took part in this film, many even in front of the camera, such as John Woo , who plays a priest, Lau Kar-Wing as a doctor or Eric Tsang, David Chiang, Kirk Wong, and others. a.
- The idea for Twin Dragons comes from the 1991 film Concentrated Load - Double Impact with Jean-Claude Van Damme .
- After the great success of Rush Hour in the USA, Twin Dragons was brought to the cinemas there again in a new cut version that is about ten minutes shorter and has been re-dubbed and set to music.
