Franz Busch (politician, 1922)

Franz Busch (born June 7, 1922 in Essen - † February 22, 1999 ) was a German SPD politician .

education and profession

After elementary school, Franz Busch worked as a miner. From 1950 to 1951 he attended the Dortmund Social Academy. From 1954 to 1961 he was a secretary at the Mining and Energy Industrial Union. From 1961 he acted as chairman of the German Federation of Trade Unions, Essen district. He was chairman of the administrative committee of the labor office in Essen and a state social judge at the state labor court in Essen.

Franz Busch had been a member of the SPD and a member of the sub-district executive committee in Essen since 1947. He was also the sub-district chairman of the working group for employees in Essen. He was councilor of the city of Essen and member of the landscape assembly of the Rhineland Regional Council from 1964 to 1970.

Franz Busch was directly elected member of the 7th and 8th state parliaments of North Rhine-Westphalia for constituency 066 Essen IV from July 26, 1970 to May 28, 1980 .
