Franz Feldinger

Franz Feldinger (born August 22, 1928 - March 16, 2009 in Salzburg ) was an Austrian soccer player who played as a midfielder for SV Austria Salzburg .

Career

He spent his entire active career at SV Austria Salzburg. For the club he played a total of 687 games between 1945 and 1963. This number has remained unmatched to this day. After the end of his active career, he became the coach of SV Austria Salzburg and worked as a teacher at various secondary schools in the city of Salzburg.

During his active time in 1953 he succeeded for the first time in the top Austrian league, the State League A. His successes also include being appointed to the Olympic team for the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki. Here he played two games (against Finland and Sweden). In 46 games he played with the Salzburg state selection.
